How does your organization plan to bring this idea to life?
The Arts Project will be implemented at our Castle Hill and Soundview Locations, 625 Castle Hill Avenue, Bronx, NY 10473 & 1930 Randall Avenue, Bronx, NY 10473. Tentatively, our Arts Program will include Music Production, Martial Arts, Video Game Design, Multi-sensational Music (instruments), Culinary Arts, and Podcasting.
What motivated your organization to apply to implement this idea?
This Arts program is directly related to the impactful work our organization does on a daily basis. We are uniquely constructed to provide intentional programming for our youth.
How do you think this project will make a difference in your community?
This project will open up a new dimension of the arts for youth. Youth often associate the arts primarily with drawing and painting, yet the field encompasses so much more.
List at least one thing you're excited about related to this project!
We’re thrilled to reintroduce instruments to our youth. We believe this is a lost art in NYC schools and are eager to bring it back through our program.
How can someone participate or stay up to date on the project?
We have create a QR code and added it to the flyer to help participants register for the program as efficiently as possible. We also encourage community residents to join and in some causes participate in programming.
