What problem would you like to solve?

The lack of fresh food available for people in the community

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

The inaccessibility of fresh food produce can create major health concerns. It is damaging to have fast food chains as the primary food system made available to civilians within a district.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

I propose building farmer's markets with affordable fresh food. Farmer's markets should be created around the neighborhood to ensure ease of access for all. The fresh produce would serve as an alternative to the fast-food chains that are already largely available.

    Who would that help?

It would help people in the community who only have access to fast food chains rather than fresh produce

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

    Queens
