Libraries and Post Offices are part of our communities

What problem would you like to solve?

There should be more open hours at libraries and post offices with staff increases included. They should not be looked on by greedy developers as "spaces to be flipped over"

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Both libraries and post offices are legacy brick and mortar public institutions that should NEVER be privatized or taken over by 3rd party systems

What idea do you have to address the problem?

City council passes laws for autonomy/protection of NYPL and USPS locations

Who would that help?

All communities and age groups, especially diverse populations

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

All areas
