Film Nights in Queens Parks

Avatar: Community Member Community Member

What problem would you like to solve?

Ever since the pandemic, I have noticed that we don't have as many free, fun movie night screenings in public parks across Queens.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

People need free and fun recreational activities that are family friendly! I remember the summer of 2019, there used to be amazing film screenings in Hunter's Point Park with bean bags! We need to bring more programming back.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Host film screenings with fun seats (bean bags) and snacks in parks across Queens during the Summer and Fall.

Who would that help?

Everyone! Especially families.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Queens
