Re-entry programs to keep individuals off and out of Rikers or jail. (barbershop, trades like construction, painting, plumbing)

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

It's important because it helps keep people off and out of jail. It's relevant because we can prevent people from coming back to jail. It would help these inmates to get jobs when they get back to society.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Giving barkershop courses, provide plumbing, painting, technician.

Providing masonry to help wood shops with construction.

Who would that help?

Inmates and people that are free to teach others to stay out of trouble and be more productive with their life.
