What problem would you like to solve?

Neighborhood residents feel unsafe on the streets, crime of all kinds, especially nuisance crimes.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

If residents of the neighborhood, community chip into volunteer for safety patrols, the deterrence alone will reduce crime.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Create neighborhood patrols, teams of 2 or 3 or 4 residents walking together, 4 hour shifts, red vests with bold lettering and walkie talkies connected to the local police precinct.
