What problem would you like to solve?

Lack of communication between community service providers and community resources and the public that needs resources and services.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

New and low-income Brazilian immigrants do not have access to the available programs because they have no idea programs exist for them. None of the advertisement and outreach is done in Brazilian Portuguese. 300,000 Brazilian immigrants in NYC are left without language appropriate resources.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Host a community podcast in Brazilian Portuguese and work with social media influencers to boost the reach of the podcast and of the resources/ community services
