Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

There are huge homeless populations in NYC. Without a home, it's nearly impossible to improve your quality of life, difficult to retain work, enter recovery, stay out of legal trouble, stay healthy.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

A portion of ALL rental developments should go to housing homeless (not contingent on drug abstinence) The program would partner with social workers to help residents retain their homes and continue to heal/regain control and quality of life

Who would that help?

everyone in NYC! Especially homeless population and the intersecting vulnerable population.
