Hiring police officers

The problem I would like to solve is public safety. This is an important topic because people need to feel safe and comfortable in their own community. An idea I have to address this problem is to, add more police officers in both the subway system and streets. This would help the people that live in a community that isn't so safe. There won't be a lot of danger because police officers will be patrolling the city to keep us safe.
