What problem would you like to solve?

I would like to prevent community and domestic violence by providing arts and cultural events production in and around my community. I would like to use these community skates socials to activate under utilizes parks, spaces and building with fun, active and social programming.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important to solve because there is a lack of local and affordable access to stimulating and activate programming in and around area I live in.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

To address the problem I have been hosting community skate socials at my local park for two (2) years, teaching roller=skate lessons, hosting art, music & fitness lessons and partner with CBO’s to provide community resources to make my local park safer place. Who would that help?

This would help residents in and around the borough of Brooklyn more directly youth-adults living in Brooklyn without access to healthy and enjoyable programing
