What problem would you like to solve?

Developing literacy for young people in Harlem and getting them into journalism.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

There are not enough young people of color in journalism and maybe they can right wrongs made to their community through writing.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Writing workshops with local networks and journalism internships, and schools.

Who would that help?

This would help the Harlem community get into journalism and have a new energetic youthful voice from the children and residents.
