Essential

"Seniors Only" designated MTA buses

Avatar: Community Member Community Member

What problem would you like to solve?

Ensuring that our seniors can ride buses Mon-Fri without school children on those buses. Certain areas of NYC where there are high schools in those areas there are students fighting, , not allowing seniors to sit in designated seats . Hours when kids go in and after 2:30 pm these buses are to in use. Visuals placed in front of bus. Small buses used.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Senior safety.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Community- Borough Pres, MTA chair, Parents. Dept of Education. Mayor, NYPD, City Council

Who would that help?

Our Senior community. - One borough at a time.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Bronx
