What problem would you like to solve?

Safety for trans people, harassment on the streets, In bathrooms, In public, etc.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Many trans people are murdered, harassed, hurt each year. They are not protected by the police or the wider community.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Safety companions- people can request accompaniment while traveling, using the restroom, etc. SCs one trained as a bystanders in de-escalation.

Who would that help?

Trans and non-binary people feeling safer to be in public as their full selves.
