What problem would you like to solve?

NYC has enormous resources that are not accessible because of limited English proficiency. 800 languages across all 5 boroughs need support.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Individuals need access to all NYC resources. Minors untrained are serving as language interpreters for their immigrant families. This is very dangerous. It is relevant to support everyone's interactions.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Creating local neighborhood language access banks with community members. Training new interpreters and engaging those with years of experience.

    Who would that help?

All of the community. It would empower all communication.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

    Manhattan
