What problem would you like to solve?

    Educational Inequality

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Educational inequalities are due to lack of funding. Typically public schools in poverty stricken areas have inadequate tools and supplies. This often makes it difficult to learn because the necessary tools are unavailable. Additionally, lack of funding results in less educators and larger classrooms which ultimately put strains on underpaid teachers. This naturally creates a toxic environment for learning

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Create programs for children of all ages, working with at risk youth, making. Assisting with families getting a handle on what' creating the problems and how the city has the ability to make changes but are not looking to assist those in need.

    Who would that help?

    Youth in our community

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

    Bronx
