Essential

Limited Accessibility to Doctors

Avatar: Community Member Community Member

What problem would you like to solve?

The problem we would like to solve is the lack of accessibility and insurance approval by doctors in the neighborhood. Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important to solve because the Brighton Beach neighborhood has many older individuals and kids that require monthly check ups by various doctors. Individuals have found that not many doctors take common insurances like Medicaid and Medicare.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

An idea we have for addressing this problem is by allowing insurance to partner with more doctors.

Who would that help?

This would help individuals of all ages that need to see doctors.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

This would benefit all boroughs as all boroughs have doctors.
