What problem would you like to solve?

Homelessness in NYC [The City can do better. Ask wealthy residents to contribute.]

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

There are too many homeless people on the streets creating a safety concern.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

The City should create a program to provide spaces in upstate NY where people have opportunity to get meaningful work (green house, farming, recycling plastic products, farm hands). The program would provide housing and a small stipend but would be mandatory for homeless people. If they are homeless, they do not have a choice. I pay taxes and my safety should come before their choice.

Who would that help?

All people, and especially homeless people.
