What problem would you like to solve?

Not knowing what parks, restaurants, hotels, entertainment venues, and activities are actually accessible .

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Being a person with a disability navigating NYC is already difficult so when I book tickets for shows, or an overnight hotel stay that advertise they are accessible it is disappointing and frustrating when I arrive and they are not.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Creating an app similar to Waze for driving that allows for individual input for everything and anything related to traffic incidents mixed with Google Maps that shows you all places when searching a key work like lunch. This way people with disabilities can get realtime feedback. To know before they go.

    Who would that help?

    All people with disabilities.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

    Manhattan
