What problem would you like to solve?

Health disparities in the South Bronx/ Bronx due to environmental and systemic issues and lack of funding for proper health and longevity.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Because so many residents have health issues and poor quality of life due to environmental concerns and food options or lack thereof.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Setting up holistic health pop ups with traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture like the Young Lords brought to the Bronx and a whole person approach to health.

Who would that help?

It would help those with chronic health issues and those at risk for developing them. Additionally, it would help those who lack insurance as well as those who don't receive adequate healthcare/preventative health care.
