What problem would you like to solve?

I would like to provide roller skating as asource of therapy and a tool for violence prevention by activating underutilized community spaces and parks.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important to solve because my community and the surrounding communities have a high percentage of individuals and families with lack of access to community engagement resources and recreation.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

I would like to p;roduce community rollerskating events with socially engaging programming and access to free to low cost skate rentals in Brooklyn, NY.

Who would that help?

This would help the residence in and around the community of crown heights reduce the financial barrior of entry for roller skates.
