Essential

New Queens Public Library Facility

Avatar: Official proposal Official proposal

What problem would you like to solve?

Lack of educational opportunities and constructive indoor facilities for residents to connect, learn and grow in the community.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

In addition to all the wonderful books, periodicals and alike offered by libraries, it is a great way to meet and connect with neighbors locally. Libraries empower residents of a given community from Early childhood readings to ESL programs to Opening a business workshop and etc.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

To meet and discuss with powers to be about funding, design, theme and location.

Who would that help?

All members of the community - who live, work, visit and invest.

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

Springfield Gardens, primarily South of Conduit Avenue.
