All School District Education Fair

What problem would you like to solve?

We would like to solve the problem of a lack of unity amongst the different types of school sites that we see in the district. This makes it difficult to navigate the school system and choose the "right school" for children in the nest setting

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

It is important to solve because not all schools are created equal and individually may be a great match for the student. Often times we see more advertising being done by charter schools while traditional public schools lack capacity and funding in that sector.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Creation od an education fair that is inclusive of all schools; parents can truly find the best fit for their child's education and future. This would eliminate the guessing and confusion of timelines and prospects when choosing a school.

Who would that help?

This would help first time parents, parents and new arrivals.
