Assault on the street steps of 139th and clay leading up to teller ave

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

A young woman was raped here just a few months ago, in broad daylight

What idea do you have to address the problem?

The way the steps were built leaves you unable to see who is on the steps going down them or coming up. I propose that on each landing instead of straight brick or cement there be and open fence type of railing to help with visibility and prevent hiding spots for muggers and rapists

Who would that help?

Everyone in the community, there is a school just above those steps, that the children take everyday to and from school.
