What problem would you like to solve?

During COVID, there was a need to outreach to those isolating. A sound system was donated to BHICNY and Imam Idriz purchased a camera in order to live stream prayer.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

For the community, this was a source of discipline, it's re-centering, it's connecting, of healing, and more.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Live streaming has allowed BHICNY to expand their audience. However, the center is volunteer based and there is no one to operate the technology. BHICNY wants to create a audio visual program that teaches kids the fundamentals of live production and troubleshooting. This provides them exposure to early-career development and the opportunity to express their creativity.
