Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Every day you hear news of another senseless shooting. People of this city are not safe. We must make our community safe again.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Gun control, more police in high crime areas. Engagement of community member including young people and other survivors of gun violence to have a deep discussion on how to improve gun control and provide safety guidelines. Reduce firearm access to youth and individuals who are at risk of harming others. Hold the gun industry accountable.

Who would that help?

Everyone, community leaders, law enforcers, the mayor and the police, and the gun industry.
