What problem would you like to solve?

There is an imbalance in the levels of commercial and residential real estate ownership in the community. Not enough Black and Brown people own their own properties.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

It is important because the lack of ownership means that people are not in the decision-making position when it comes to where they live and as a result they are subject to displacement.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

I would like to a see a program that teaches about how to purchase homes and builds group economic models like other communities have to help people work together t own commercial and residential spaces.

Who would that help?

It would help all low-income people in the community.
