Improved security cameras to deter and spread awareness of sex offenders

Avatar: Kissena Synergy Kissena Synergy
Idea Submission for The People's Money:
Higher resolution camera footage and increase of security camera coverage on subways and subway stations to aid in the evidence collection for victims of crimes on the subways to identify perpetrators quicker (so better photos of offenders can be distributed for identification) for all victims that didn't have bystanders record for them / couldn't record themselves.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
There has been an increase in crime during the day time on subways from sexual harrassment [sic] to sexual assault, to many other crimes it is discouraging and we've noticed many stories on social media of people sharing their fear.
