Idea Submission for The People's Money:
Do more to make possible clients aware of the services already being offered by the city and non-profits by establishing resource centers in neighborhoods throughout the city in locations easily accessible and frequented by targeted groups.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
Many possible clients for services and programs already being offered by the city and non-profit are unaware that such programs exist. I have helped facilitate idea generation sessions for the People's Money and noticed many of the ideas generated are for services or programs that already exist, such as job training, computer skills workshops, etc. Also, that the individuals generating the idea are those who want the opportunity they are suggesting, and are unaware such opportunity already exists.
Which groups does your idea focus on? Select all that apply
Youth (under 24)
Older Adults (65 +)
Public Housing Residents
Justice Impacted People
People with Disabilities
Limited English Speakers
Immigrants / Migrants
Veterans
