Describe the challenge you want to address:

Since Mayor Deblasio opened up the mental institutions and closed down Creedmoor, we've had deaths caused by some of the mentally ill that don't belong in jail or prison. Because NYC doesn't have enough services to give them proper housing which they can stay at, medical care & medication supervision, etc., there have been unnecessary deaths. Almost all these people, who are a danger to people's lives, can be prevented from hurting or killing innocent people. These mentally ill who are screened as dangerous, don't have the capacity to control their violent thoughts and tendencies.

What is the solution to the challenge?

Open back up some modern permanent psychiatric institutions for the dangerously mentally ill. That will hopefully decrease the amount of deaths of people pushed into subways, stabbed, punched or hurt by psychotic people who refuse or aren't provided with enough social services to make sure they take their medication & are stabilized as well as not a danger to society.
