Describe the challenge you want to address:: Stop Youth from climbing up on subway cars to "subway surf" fatally injuring themselves
What is the solution to the challenge?: Start with education in the schools with mandatory discussions on the dangers of subway surfing. The discussions have to be blunt showing how young people were killed, or paralyzed trying to subway surf. Engage students to create slogans and artwork against subway surfing and have the MTA print the posters and put them all over the subway system, in stations, in subway cars, on platforms etc.
