Describe the challenge you want to address:: Youth in NYC are socially isolated, not going outside or developing positive habits. This makes them vulnerable to poor mental health and entry into gangs, there are limited measures that mitigate this.
What is the solution to the challenge?: Mentorship program for youth, where kids are surrounded by positive people. Mentors could include volunteers from the community or previous gang members working to change the community. This could be hosted by local organizations like schools, community orgs or housing.
