Describe the challenge you want to address:
Safety for everyone. We want to feel safe in our neighborhood. Youths smoking in the halls, and skipping school. They become belligerent and disrespectful to olde adults. We don't feel safe when we see a group of young people hanging around.
What is the solution to the challenge?
Young people need a program like an internship. These internships would be paid internships. Focusing on empowerment, building leadership skills, or trade skills such as recreation, swimming, grooming (barbing), makeup, hair braiding.
