As demonstrated by the recent horrific serial stabbings, the West Chelsea area has become unsafe with many homeless and mentally ill people on the streets. Help care for them with dignity and make sure that the community is also safe.

What is the solution to the challenge?

Expansion or enhancement of direct social services to the homeless and mentally ill, especially around the 8th Ave subway line and 7th Ave subway line between 21st street and 31st street.
