Describe the challenge you want to address:: The Staten Island elderly population may find it difficult to find friends or spend their time proactively. Although Staten Island does have adult daycares, these day cares cost money and aren't as accessible. There is also a general isolation in communities and people and a lack of communities and people and a lack in organization networking open opportunities
What is the solution to the challenge?: We can implement programs to help them gain social interactions for their mental health. Programs can include art classes, lunches, teas, game afternoons, and exercise classes. We will spend money on renting areas, hiring staff, and paying for the activities themselves.
