Describe the challenge you want to address:
Keep Harlem clean and Harlem residents engaged on the issue of environmental justice by educating them on how to recycle their items and make those bins available along 125th street. Harlem streets are filled with litter which exacerbates poor health conditions and creates ADA issues when there is waste covering the street.
What is the solution to the challenge?
Include municipal blue (metal/glass/plastic), green (paper/cardboard) and orange (food scraps/organics) bins along the 125th street corridor to divert waste sent to landfill.
