Describe the challenge you want to address:: Homelessness is a large issue within Staten Island, many are living on the streets, live in the ferry terminal, and go to sleep on the ferry who need to find a spot that is safe
What is the solution to the challenge?: Repurpose the old St. Johns University as a homeless rehabilitation shelter to feed, house and clothe people, rehabilitate and help people mentally, train for jobs, and assist medically if possible. A non-profit would help fund this endeavor.
