Describe the challenge you want to address:
Children with disabilities in our community have challenging experience with timeliness and organization. Such issues derive from difficulty with executive functioning thus causing a challenge to remain orderly in school and in life without getting overwhelmed.
Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
Program including sensory friendly space to facilitate weekly workshops catered towards tackling challenges of executive function. Weekly workshops will provide engaging, creative, and customized ideas for staying organized. The community will be a safe space for children to discuss their troubles and find routines appropriate for them.
