Describe the challenge you want to address:

Residents are not aware of the free weekend and afterschool education and safety programs available to youth. We need to help children stay off the streets and stay engaged with each other. IN order to keep youth safe and involved with each other and off the streets civic participation and weekend end programming keep our youth safe.

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

Creating a safe space for our youth by implementing a cultural and language program to engage youth in afterschool and weekend programming. Using existing space such as public schools to build these programs or community center. Building programming that will support youth to further their career choices through volunteering and civic engagement.
