Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:: Create an after school program modeled after mayor Dinkins, Safe streets-safe city that includes mental health support, vocational training, job intern, volunteer opportunities. Make a link between North Shore youth and South Shore seniors with need to create a borough wide intergenerational volunteer help program. They can play games, help with shopping and house work, etc.
