Many vision and hearing impaired adults are not able to live independently or in a supportive community.\n\n</div></dd><dt name=\"textarea-1694626369303-0\">Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:</dt><dd id=\"textarea-1694626369303-0\" name=\"textarea\">\n\n<div>We wan to establish a housing program that accepts your people (16-18) who are hearing & vision impaired to come active members of their communities. this program bridges the gap between childhood - adulthood four our vulnerable members of society; helping to train them to hold fulfilling jobs and lead vibrant lives. They live together so they create a community. They mentor each other in that community. The program starts in the summer where they choose a job based on their interests. Going into the school year. They combine with life skills like cooking, budgeting, etc. afterschool and one week.
