Describe the challenge you want to address:

Continued Displacement of NYC's feral cat population and wildlife due to development. They have no safe place to exist.

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

After all of the money, time and hard work invested by the city, animal welfare organizations, rescue groups volunteers to humanely address the overpopulation of feral cat population, one of the most important issues not addressed is providing a protected green space for them to humanely exist outdoors.
Having protected green space in neighborhoods in each of the five boroughs such as a community garden or urban farm where all can come to enjoy and participate in caring for the feral cats and wildlife in their community.
They need help now. Every bit of space is being developed in the city and they have nowhere to go. The human- animal bonds bring all people together.
