Essential

Aiding in the Decrease of Homelessness

Avatar: Community Member Community Member

What problem would you like to solve?

Reducing the percentage of homeless people in N.Y

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Homeless affect the safety of public transportation and they overcrowd shelters. If this problem can be reduced it will help to solve crimes.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Put more money towards building more shelters and building more rehab and mental health centers.

Who would that help?

Public Transportation and reduce overcrowding.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Brooklyn
