Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

How we treat the homeless is abysmal. Instead of helping them, we are creating more ways to punish them.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Buy or create more affordable housing for the homeless. They did this in Utah and it saved money for the state. Or, give people money for rent so they can actually get an apartment and help them get that apartment.
