Essential

Public Safety in Brooklyn

Avatar: Community Member Community Member

What problem would you like to solve?

Guns too abundant on the streets. People are afraid to walk. People are afraid of being attacked by a hammer.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

It will make us feel safer to go out places in the community or elsewhere if public safety is increased.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Invest in programs that assist mentally ill, and violence prevention. Keep people locked up who are dangerous or send to hospital for help.

Who would that help?

Everyone

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Brooklyn
