Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

There is a dread for physical harm in the Bronx across all age groups, but more notably in elderly and women, as well as, teenagers.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

We propose starting a Safety Chaperon Program, whereby people who are going from place to place during the day or night can call or use an App to request volunteers to walk them between places.

Who would that help?

All residents but particularly those who are frail or prone to being bullied or victimized such as girls, women and elderly.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

All boroughs, but we will focus in the Bronx.
