Avatar: Community Member Community Member

What problem would you like to solve?

Youth lacks programs to guide them positively, lack safe places to meet and youth feel lost after substance abuse and being in the foster care system.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

It is important because troubled youth who don't have anywhere to go or programs to turn to get caught up in the justice system.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Present a survey to determine how youth in NYC schools feel about diversity/availability of programs and what facilities exist for them to go to, and then fund programs in response to they survey.

Who would that help?

Youth, troubled teens

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?
