What problem would you like to solve?

Giving people with disabilities access to assistive technology training services when learning computer skills.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

In my experience in the nonprofit I work for, job seekers state difficulty in applying to employment opportunities because they do not know how to use assistive technology.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

more computer training programs should also have assistive tech softwares installed on their machines or get basic training on how to navigate them.

    Who would that help?

In my experience, I work in the blindness community.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

    Borough: Manhattan
