Affordable, safe and clean housing

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

There are alot of people being asked to live in unlivable enviornments where things are unclean or broken. NYCHA and low income housing are places that poor people and previously homeless are asked to live but they are not safe or clean places. The homes are also not affordable.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Ensure that properties are clean and safe prior to people moving in. Create a job where someome visits the properties and ensure they are livable. Create more programs that assist people in paying their rent.

Who would that help?

Homeless, single parents, those who live in NYCHA.
