Youth Engagement and Support in Co-op City

What problem would you like to solve?

The lack of services and activities for youth in coop city. This has been an issue since I moved to Coop City in 1974 and my son was 10.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

To get youth input to improve quality of life for youth as well as adults and seniors in the community.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

To provide the youth with programs and activities to enable them to become good citizens. Suggested ideas include: youth centers, high school equivalency prep, college prep, tutoring programs, and include youth in the planning.
