Call “711”-Mental Health services(mobile & on foot)

Avatar: Community Member Community Member

What problem would you like to solve?

  • escalating problems
  • not having someone to talk to in person. You call 711 to have people to intervene and patrol not to be putting you down

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Because people have become more aggressive and behavior. They also have to be heard and attend classes about health. I remember an organization that takes people off the streets if they refuse to wash because they are a public health hazard so they clean them up, feed them, dress them, and if they are not aggressive put them back on the streets.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Have a public idea generating meeting so people know about each other’s ideas.

Who would that help?

The public

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Manhattan
